Steve Banis, a team member of South Carolina Homes, Inc., a real estate investment company that specializes in buying and selling properties in the Greater Tri-County Charleston area. Steve has been in the real estate business since 1975 and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of the industry.
Steve was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1944. He is a graduate of the United States Army Infantry Training Center at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and served in the US Army for many years. He is also a member of the Honor Guard of the Ancient Honorable Artillery Company, Boston, Massachusetts, the oldest active military unit in the Western Hemisphere.
Steve is passionate about helping folks buy or sell a house. He is dedicated and honest businessman who is committed to providing his clients with the best possible service.
Three of the most memorable events in Steve’s memory that have shaped his life are:
- His decision to put his trust in God to direct his life: Steve’s trust in God has been the foundation of his life and career. He believes that God has guided him every step of the way, and he is grateful for the blessings that he has received.
- His decision to leave the corporate world to become an entrepreneur: His decision to leave the corporate world to become an entrepreneur was a bold one, but it has paid off. He is now the successful owner of his own business, and he is able to help people achieve their own financial goals.
- His continued military affiliations, including carrying the United States of America Flag into Vatican City on May 6, 2006, to Pope Benedict XVI in Vatican City Rome, at the 500th Anniversary of the Vatican Swiss Guard, Sumter Guards of Charleston, meeting and receiving Holy Communion from the Pope.
Steve’s continued military affiliations are a source of great pride for him. He is honored to be a member of the Honor Guard of the Ancient Honorable Artillery Company, and he cherishes the memories of his time in the US Army.
He is a man of deep faith, integrity, and determination. Steve is a true inspiration to those who know him, and is a valuable asset to the real estate industry.
